Clients are recommended to maintain a monthly, pre-booked grooming schedule.
Clients who remain on a continuous recurring schedule receive priority scheduling (platinum-level priority) and are eligible for a 10% service discount.
A few times each year, appointments may fall 5–6 weeks apart due to holidays, vacations, or scheduled time off.
Appointments are scheduled by route, so appointment times are approximate. Please be available 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your scheduled time.
We value your time and strive to remain punctual. However, due to the nature of mobile grooming, unforeseen conditions may occasionally require schedule adjustments. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible.
Appointments are reserved specifically for you and scheduled by route.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a 100% charge of the scheduled grooming fee.
Rescheduling within 48 hours of the appointment will result in a $50 rescheduling fee.
Notice is defined as 48 hours (to the minute) prior to your scheduled appointment time, not the calendar day before.
Clients who repeatedly cancel appointments without rescheduling may be removed from the schedule.
If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to accommodate a new appointment within 7 days of your original booking. If no availability exists or you are unavailable beyond that window, you may need to wait until your next scheduled appointment. Changes to one appointment do not affect future months, as routing may cause intervals to be slightly shorter or longer.
Emergency situations are understood and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
It is the owner’s responsibility to provide a healthy, groomable pet. A pet’s behavior and temperament will be assessed at the time of the appointment. If a pet is deemed unsafe or unmanageable, services may be refused or discontinued to protect both the pet and the stylist.
Pets must be in good health and able to stand on their own for grooming. Medium and large dogs must be able to enter and exit the mobile salon without assistance. For safety reasons, dogs over 30 lbs will not be lifted or carried.
All pets are required by law to be current on rabies vaccinations. Owners must provide valid proof of vaccination upon request. A bite may require medical assistance, and owners are responsible for all costs related to injuries, medical treatment, or damages resulting from their pet’s behavior.
In the event of a medical emergency, I am authorized to act as the owner’s agent to seek emergency veterinary care, transportation, or temporary care as deemed necessary. All associated costs will be the responsibility of the owner.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their pets are flea- and tick-free at the time of service. If parasites are discovered, an all-natural flea and/or tick treatment may be applied, and additional fees may apply. You will be notified if parasites are found so appropriate treatment of your home environment can be completed.
If a pet has an excessive parasite infestation that was not disclosed prior to the appointment, additional fees may be charged to cover necessary sanitation or extermination measures.
If your pet is matted, every effort will be made to groom as safely and humanely as possible. Severe matting can cause the skin to become sensitive and may result in clipper irritation, redness, nicks, abrasions, rashes, or itchiness. In some cases, removing heavy matting can cause overall skin sensitivity due to the sudden release of tension on the skin.
Hair removal from the ear canal may cause temporary irritation and may reveal underlying conditions requiring veterinary care. Matting removed from the ear leather may result in hematomas (localized swelling due to blood pooling), particularly along the ear edges.
By proceeding with grooming services, you acknowledge and accept these risks and agree not to hold the groomer responsible for conditions resulting from grooming a severely matted pet.
